Sekisui Fuller Standardises on SuccessFactors Business Execution Software in First PriceWaterhouseCoopers Japan Partnership Deal

In 2005, Sekisui and HB Fuller merged their Japanese adhesive business to create a new entity called Sekisui Fuller. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Sekisui Fuller is now the largest industrial adhesive business in Japan with approximately $150 million in revenue. Sekisui Fuller's main business focus is to manufacture adhesive products with the latest technology for the household, industrial, construction and civil engineering markets. Their parent company, Sekisui Chemical Co Ltd, has close to 20,000 employees and is one of the world's biggest compound manufacturers.
"The need for a strategic solution to provide us with greater employee communication, business performance and cascading of corporate goals first originated with our President," stated Mr. Ishikawa, HR manager of Sekisui Fuller. "We already had an ERP system in place but our President, Mr. Robert E McGuire, wanted better visibility in reviewing employees' performance with their sales and business results. SuccessFactors has the ability to provide our senior management with line of sight into our business performance, accelerate the execution of our corporate strategy and easily integrate with data from other systems. The cost-effective delivery model of cloud computing, combined with Japanese support and functionality, will enable us to achieve best practice within our business framework."
SuccessFactors was introduced to Sekisui Fuller by their reselling and consulting partner PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In late 2009, SuccessFactors and PriceWaterhouseCoopers announced their official partnership to deliver the largest Business Execution Powerhouse team in Japan. Sekisui Fuller will be deploying SuccessFactors' Goal Management, Performance Management and Stack Ranker solutions.
